Bernadette Sheridan is an American artist and designer.

For a long time, she didn’t think she could draw. Then she found her ideal drawing size. Ever since, she’s been creating painted illustrations based on tiny drawings that capture just the right details at the size that works best for her.

Along the way, she started sharing her experiences with Synesthesia, a phenomenon that overlaps senses. She created a website in 2019 to help others understand the way she “sees” words and names: as bold, vibrant stripes of color.
